Fellowship and Service

Presbyterian Women:

The Presbyterian Women meet together to nurture their faith through prayer and Bible study. Regular meetings are held on the second Thursday of the month at 9:30 AM in Fellowship Hall of the church from September through May. Presbyterian Women members take turns hosting these meetings.

Fellowship Time

Fellowship Time:

Each Sunday after worship, Fellowship Time follows in Fellowship Hall with members volunteering to host this special sharing time. Potluck meals are held periodically as well as occasional fundaraising meals prepared by the youth.

Soup and Scripture

Soup and Scripture:

Members from our congregation meet jointly with members from the Methodist, Christian (Disciples of Christ), and First Baptist Churches for the Soup and Scripture held on Wednesdays at noon during Lent and Advent.

Funeral Dinners:

The Deacons serve funeral dinners for bereaved families.

Recycling:

Being good stewards of our resources is encouraged. We consciously make the effort not to use styrofoam cups, plates, etc. for fellowship events. A box is available in the sanctuary for people to drop their bulletins in as they leave worship each Sunday to be recycles. Two large trash cans are available in the Christian Education Building in which members can place their aluminum cans to be recycled. Money collected from the aluminum recycling goes toward youth projects.
